Address Book
TIFF (32772 packbits) - This is a popular compression scheme
that can be used for bi-level or gray scale files. Only bi-level files
can be imported or exported.
TIFF (No compression) - Use this if you are unsure what type of
TIFF format to use. Only bi-level files can be imported or
exported.
JPEG Image Files
JPEG (Joint Photographics Experts Group) is a file format which
supports single-page, 8-bit gray-scale and is appropriate for
images with a wide range of colour, such as a 24-bit (millions of
colours) photograph. The .JPG format works best with photo-
graphs, naturalistic artwork and real world scenes. The JPG
format is less effective with line art, simple cartoons, etc.
Notes Tab
This tab enables you to create notes for a selected Address Book
record. You may enter unlimited notes for each Address Book
record.
To add new notes or change an existing note for an Address Book
entry:
Select the Notes tab from the side of your Address Book.
Highlight the Address Book record you want to add notes to
from the left page of your application.
Select the New Note
icon from the Notes toolbar on the right
page of the Address Book. If you are editing an existing note,
highlight that note from the Notes list on the right page of the
Address Book Notes tab.
Type the subject of the note in the Subject field and enter a
description of the note in the text box.
Click the Save Note
icon on the Notes toolbar to save the
note.
