Viewing documents
Note: If you are saving the document as an .ALA file,
you may enter a description of the document in the
Description field. This description will assist you in
locating the particular file at a later date using the Find
feature of your Windows 95 or 98 system.
Select OK to save the file.
Closing the Viewer window
Part of displaying documents and images is closing them when you
are finished. Simply choose Close from the File menu to close the
viewing window. If you haven't previously saved your file or if you
have made changes to it, you will be prompted to save it before
closing. For more information about saving, see the section on
Saving Images and documents later in this chapter.
Establishing Viewer Properties
You may determine which application buttons are displayed on your
Action Bar, how your Thumbnails are displayed, and establish
OCR, Annotation and Print settings. To establish these properties,
select Properties from the View menu and click the appropriate tab.
The Action Bar
The Action Bar is a unique feature in the Viewer, enabling you to
drag and drop entire files and separate pages and images to quickly
perform common functions. These common Action Bar functions
include:
Save As
Opens the Save As dialog box where you define how you want
to save the dropped file.
