SaveAs button on the Action Bar. You can save the pages with a new
name and change the image file type. Available file types depend upon
the type of image you are saving. If you are saving the file as an
.ALA, you will be presented with the option of adding a description to
the file or appending the file to an existing .ALA file.
To save selected pages from a file:
Display the thumbnails view as described earlier.
Select thumbnails of the pages that you want to save.
Drag and drop the selected pages to the Save As button on the
Action Bar or from the File menu, choose Save Pages.
Navigate to the correct drive and directory where you want to
store the file.
Enter the file name directly in the File Name box.
Appending an existing ALA file
Select Save As from the File menu.
In the File Name box, type or select the ALA file you want to
append to. If the file you want to append to is not in the File Name
box, do the following:
In the Save File as Type list, select *.ALA;
Navigate to the correct drive and directory where the file is
stored, and select the .ALA file you want or type the file name
directly in the File Name box.
Check the Append to File option and select the OK pushbutton.
Printing files or consecutive pages of a file
You can print the active image file, or any range of pages of the
active file by either using a menu command or dragging and dropping
thumbnails to the Print
button on the Action Bar. Noncon-
