Viewing documents
To have
Viewer
automatically scale the image to fit on the
printed or faxed page:
From the View menu, select Properties... (or select Prop-
erties from the pop-up menu via a right mouse click)
Select the Print tab.
Select the Scale to Fit Printed Page option.
Select the Apply to confirm your changes and Close to exit
the Properties menu.
Rotate as Necessary
If you have a landscape image, or rotated image that is wider
than the printable area of the printer or fax, some of the informa-
tion may be cropped when printing or faxing. You can have
Viewer automatically rotate the image so that it is printed in the
correct orientation where the longest dimension of the image is
aligned with the longest dimension of the paper. If your image is
still larger than the printable area of the printer or fax, you can
have Viewer also automatically reduce the size of the printed or
faxed image so that the entire image is printed or faxed. This is
done using the Scale to Fit option described earlier.
To have
Viewer
automatically rotate the image:
From the View menu, select Properties (or select Proper-
ties from the pop-up menu via a right mouse click)
Select the Print tab.
Select the Rotate Image As Necessary option.
Select the Apply to confirm your changes and Close to exit
the Properties menu.
After changing the Scale to Fit or the Rotate as Necessary proper-
ties, Viewer’s print preview capability can be used to see how your
file will look when printed or faxed.
