Stapling (combining) pages
You can easily combine files or selected pages from a file by
temporarily “stapling” them together. The stapled files can then be
managed and edited using the same commands and procedures as
any other image file. The stapled files can be printed, faxed and
saved as a new image file. You can create only one stapled file at a
time.
To staple files or pages together:
Select and drag and drop the first file or pages you want to
combine to the Staple
button on the Action Bar.
Hint: Drag and drop the files in the order that you want them
stapled together. However, you can still rearrange the pages of
the stapled files later in the Stapler window.
Drag and drop each additional file or page to the Staple button.
To print, fax, save, view or change the contents of the stapled
files, double-click on the Staple button to open the Stapler
window. You can continue to add files and pages to Stapler
when the Stapler window is open or minimized by dragging them
to the Staple button. The Stapled Files window is a fully func-
tional Viewer window with the following exceptions:
Only one Stapled Files window is permitted.
The contents of the window will be cleared when the
window is closed.
