Note: If you make a mistake, you can change the size and
position of the defined area as described earlier.
To Crop the selected area of the displayed image, do one of the
following:
From the Edit menu, select Crop or click the right mouse button
within the selected area and select Crop from the pop-up menu.
From the Standard Toolbar, click on the Crop
button.
Clearing portions of an image
Using the Clear command you may remove a portion of the dis-
played image. However, because the information is not put onto the
Windows Clipboard, it cannot be pasted back to an image.
Click on Edit and Undo if you clear a portion of an image by mistake
or click the right mouse button within the selected area and select
Undo from the pop-up menu.
To clear a portion of the displayed image:
Define the area of the image that you want to clear using the
Area Selection tool and position the cursor at one corner of the
area to be cleared.
Hold down the mouse button and drag the cursor until the
flexible box encloses the area to be cleared.
Release the mouse button.
Select Edit, Clear or click the right mouse button within the
selected area and select Clear from the pop-up menu.
If a mistake is made, the size and position of the defined area
can be changed as described earlier.
Scaling Images
Select Edit, Scale to symmetrically change the size of the entire
image in the active window. Choose from the following items in the
dialog box:
