Annotating documents
The Characteristics dialog box opens for the specified annota-
tion type.
In the Characteristics dialog box, select the desired text set-
tings, effects, and colour characteristics for the annotation type.
These settings will apply to all future annotations of the same
type. (Note: Not all selections are available for every anno-
tation type.)
Select OK.
Sticky Notes
The Sticky Notes feature enables you to enter text directly on your
displayed image. You can define the characteristics of the text, the
background of the text block and whether the text block should have
a border or not. You can also move and change the size and shape
of your Sticky Notes as described in the Resizing and Moving
Annotations section.
Adding Sticky Notes
To add a Sticky Note, select the Sticky Note mode.
From the Annotations Toolbar, select the Sticky Note tool
or from the Tools menu, select Sticky Notes.
The cursor will change to the Text cursor
Place the cursor in the upper left-hand corner of the area where
you want to add a sticky note. Hold down the left mouse button
and drag the cursor until the box is the desired size.
Type in the text you want. Press the ENTER key to start a new
line.
