Annotating documents
Position the cursor where you want to begin entering information
and type in the text.
Press the ENTER key to start a new line.
Selecting a Typewriter entry
Before a Typewriter entry can be edited or moved, it must be
selected. To select a Typewriter entry:
Select the pointer tool from the Annotations Toolbar or from
the menu bar, select the Tools menu and deselect (uncheck) any
command that may be checked.
Position the cursor inside the Typewriter entry you want to
select.
Click the left mouse button, and the selected Typewriter entry
will be highlighted with a blue border.
Editing a Typewriter Entry
You may edit any of your existing Typewriter annotations on your
displayed image file. To edit an existing Typewriter entry, follow the
steps outlined below: (Note: Standard Windows keyboard combi-
nations may be used when editing Typewriter entries.)
Select the Typewriter entry you want to edit.
Position the cursor inside the entry you want to edit.
Click the left mouse button. The selected Typewriter entry will
be highlighted with a blue border.
Edit the Typewriter entry as necessary, pressing the Enter key
to start a new line.
(Note: If an image contains more than one Typewriter field,
press the Tab key to advance the next field. To change the
size or move a Typewriter entry, refer to the Resizing and
Moving Annotations section.)
