Annotating documents
Position the cursor where you want to start drawing your line.
Depress the left mouse button and draw your line.
Release the mouse button.
Drawing Rectangles
You can draw rectangles on your images in order to draw attention
to a particular area or to block out information that you do not want
to pass along. You may also define the characteristics of any
rectangle annotation such as the colour, border and whether the
rectangle should be opaque, transparent or clear. To draw a rect-
angle, follow the steps outlined below:
From the Annotations toolbar, select the Rectangle tool, or from
the Tools menu, select the Rectangle command.
The cursor will change to the Rectangle cursor.
Position the cursor where you want to start drawing your
rectangle.
Depress the left mouse button and draw your rectangle.
Release the mouse button.
Using the Whiteout Tool
The Whiteout Tool allows you to erase (whiteout) areas of your
image. Using this tool, you are able clean up and customize your
image as necessary. To whiteout portions of your image, do one of
the following:
From the Annotations toolbar, select the Whiteout Tool or from
the Tools menu, select the Whiteout Tool command.
Position the cursor on the area you want to erase (whiteout).
Depress the left mouse button and drag your mouse over the
area you want to erase.
Release the mouse button.
