Fax Receive tab
Fax Signal Receive
Select this checkbox if you want the Colour MFP (or your
computer) to automatically begin fax reception if you hear a fax
tone after answering a call on the Colour MFP’s handset or an
extension phone connected to the same line. Deselect the
checkbox if you are using a computer modem on the same line
and find that the Colour MFP interferes with modem operation.
Receive to PC
Select this checkbox if you want to have incoming faxes re-
ceived to your computer rather than to the Sharp Colour MFP.
Note that the reception mode of the Colour MFP must be set to
FAX or TEL/FAX in order to have your computer answer calls
automatically.
4 Ring Tel Answer
Select this checkbox if you want to have the Sharp Colour MFP
automatically answer incoming calls after 4 rings when it is in
TEL reception mode.
