Setting Languages
You can select your preferred language for the cell
broadcast message display.

“Cell Broadcasts”
→
“Settings”
→
“Language”
The current language is displayed.
1.
Press
e
. The language list is displayed.
2.
Select the desired language.
3.
Press [Back].
Subscribing to Cell Broadcasts
Select the page of the cell broadcast message that you
want.

→
“Set Info
Subjects”
1.
Select “Add/Remove”.
2.
Select the desired page.
3.
Press [Back].
Tip
•
If the desired page is not in the list that appears in
step 2, select “Create Subject” in step 1, then enter
the subject code to add a page. For details on the
subject code, contact your service provider.
Area Info
The Area info is the message information that operators
send to subscribers in certain areas.
When you receive Area Info, the message (area code) is
displayed on the stand-by screen.

This function may not be available on all mobile
phone networks. Contact your network operator for
more information.
Enabling/Disabling Area Info
1.
Press
A
during stand-by.
2.
Select “Area Info”.
3.
Select “On” or “Off”.

•
If Area Info is set to “On”, the stand-by time will
decrease.
