For power supply use the proper socket.
Do not connect too many loads to one outlet.
Fully insert the plug. Hold the plug itself, when
disconnecting it.
Do not operate the appliance with a damage cord or
plug, electric shock or fire may occur.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before
cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking
off parts.
Do not wash the body, cord or plug with water or pour
water directly into the body. Otherwise, electric
shock or malfunction may occur.
Unless the inner pot is in place, the switch can not
be turn on. If the switch is kept pressed forcibly,
malfunction may occur.
If the switch is turned off prematurely, resulting in
cook failure, do not attempt to keep the switch
pressed forcibly. Malfunction may occur.
The possible cause of premature turning-off of the
switch is rice sticking to the bottom of inner pot or
the heater plate.
Keep the switch away from tableware.
Do not use in the following places.
“Wet floor, place where humidity is high”.
“Unstable place, place exposed to direct sunlight”.
“Place near heat sources such as a gas cooking
table”.
“On the low heat-resistant carpets and vinyl
table-cloth”.
Otherwise, electric shock, malfunction, or
deformation may occur.
Since it is very hot around the steam vent during or
immediately after cooking rice, keep your face and
hands away from the vent. Otherwise, you may burn
your face and hands.
Do not put the inner pot on other heat sources (e.g.
gas ring). Otherwise, it may be deformed, causing
rice cooking failure.
Take care not to deform the body, inner pot and inner
lid. If they are deformed, rice cooking is disturbed.
Always keep clean the inner pot, heater plate, inner
lid and steam tube. If foreign matter such as grinds of
rice adhere to them, rice boiling and heat retention
may be adversely affected.
Do not put dish cloth on lid or on handle during
boiling. Otherwise, deformation and malfunction may
occur.
This model is for rice cooking and heat retention.
Do not use it as follows. Boiling-over or smell
permeation will occur.
“Heat retention of food (boiling rice, steamed rice with
red beans) which spoils quickly”.
“Cooking and heat retention of porridge and soup.
“Heat retention and addition of cool boiled rice”.
“Heat retention with plastic spoon put in the rice
cooker”.
Do not apply strong vibration and shock during
cooking rice. Thermostat error may occur, resulting
in cooking failure.
Steam may vent out from a clearance between the
body and lid, or the steam vent hole may peep.
This is not indication of trouble.
Be sure to put the steam tube and inner lid when
using. Otherwise cooking failure or poor heat
retention may occur.
Do not turn the rice cooker on without both rice and
water in the inner pot.
