Basic Handset Operations
This section describes basic phone call functions.
Confirm that the handset is on.
Making a Call

Open the handset and enter a phone number
with the keypad.

Confirm the number and press
D
.
Start talking when the connection is established.
If you enter a wrong number
Press
A
[Clear] to delete one digit. Press
A
[Clear] and
hold for approximately 2 seconds to delete the last line.
The handset returns to standby mode when all lines are
deleted.
Ending a Call
Press
F
to end the call.
Answering a Call

The handset rings for an incoming call.
The handset vibrates when the vibration is set to
“Enable” or “Link to sound.” For information on the
vibration setting, refer to “Setting the Vibration” on
page 15-137.

[Answer].
The call is connected and “

When the Any Key Answer Function
is Activated
To answer a call, press any key except
F
or
A
[Busy].
For information on “Any Key Answer,” refer to “Setting
Any Key Answer” on page 15-142.
When the hands free EARphone &
MIC is connected
To answer a call, press and hold the button of the
hands free EARphone & MIC for approximately 2
seconds.
Closing the handset also ends a call. For
information on the other operations when handset
is closed, refer to “Settings for Flipping the
Handset Closed” on page 15-146.
