Setting the Digital Zoom
You can select among three different zoom
ranges: 1–16
(optical zoom), 16–64
(digital
zoom) or 64–400
(digital zoom). The digital
zoom allows you to record powerful close-up
pictures with the same operation as normal
zooming.
Notes:
• The digital zoom is in addition to the optical
zoom giving a combined maximum zoom range
of 1–400
.
•
As the image is enlarged digitally, the picture
quality decreases when higher digital zoom
settings are used.
•
The digital zoom cannot be used with the
Digital Quick Zoom or the STRETCH or SLIM
EFF. picture effects.
