CASSETTE OPERATION
• Be sure to use quality tapes for best results.
• The use of tapes longer than C-90 (90 minutes) is not
recommended.
• Before loading tape into cassette compartment, tighten
slack tape with pen or pencil.
• Cassettes have removable tabs which allow recording to
take place. Removing tab on top left protects side facing up
from erasure. Cover tab holes with adhesive tape to erase or
record again.
• TAPE 1: Playback only.
TAPE 2: Playback or recording.
(1) If PLAY is pressed and STOP/EJECT is then pressed while
there is no power (AC cord is not connected, no batteries in-
stalled) and the power is then turned on and FAST WIND is
pressed, the tape will momentarily advance at normal play-
back speed with audio output before fast-forwarding begins.
(2) When battery power drops, the tape may not advance even
if RECORD or PLAY is pressed. Also, the cassette compart-
ment may not open when STOP/EJECT is pressed. Replace
the batteries or use the AC cord.
