Change the Barcode Scanner Mode Using BCRConfig.exe
There are two modes of using the SHR-1000
’s Barcode Scanner. First
method of using Barcode Scanner is the
“Wedge Mode”. The other mode is
“Application Mode,” the default mode.
When the Barcode Scanner is set to
“Application Mode” you need to program
the Barcode Scanner commands and functions in your application code for
you to be able to use the Scanner.
To use the Barcode Scanner without needing to modify your
application’s
source code, you need to set it on
“Wedge Mode.”

Use Wedge Mode
a) Click the [
Start
] button in bottom left of the screen -> Select the
BCRConfig
-> Click the [
X
] button in bottom right -> Click the
BCRConfig
Icon in Taskbar -> Click the "
Wedge Mode
" -> Select either
"
KeyStroke
" or "
ClipBoard
“
b) You can now use Barcode Scanner by pushing scan button in Keypad.
