Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular maintenance of your appliance will keep it safe and in proper operational order.

Before Cleaning

After use and before cleaning, always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply, remove

the plug from the wall socket and wait for the toaster to cool.

Cleaning

1.

Wipe the outside of the toaster with a damp cloth only and dry with another cloth or tissue.

NEVER use metal polish or coarse scouring agents and never immerse your toaster in

any sort of liquid.

NEVER use any pointed or sharp articles for cleaning the inside; otherwise the heating

element will be damaged.

NEVER use a brush or push your fingers or metal objects down the slots.

2.

Do not allow breadcrumbs to build up in this toaster as they may present a fire hazard.
Remove the Crumb Tray and clean away breadcrumbs after use.

Ventilation Safety Slots

Always keep the ventilation safety slots clear from blockage. Failure to keep these vents clear
may result in overheating.

Damage Check

Always check that the appliance is in good working order and that any safety guards and

removable parts are secure. Check the power supply cord and plug regularly for cuts or
damage.

Store in a Safe Place

When not in use store your appliance and all its accessories and instruction manual in a safe
and dry place.
