Test.Run
To test run the machine, do these steps:
1. Make sure all tools and objects used during setup are
cleared away from the machine, and that a sanding
belt or auxiliary attachment are NOT installed on the
machine.
2. Make sure the ON/OFF button (see Figure
17
) is
pushed in, then connect the machine to power.
3. Pull the ON/OFF button out to turn the machine
ON
.
4. Listen to and watch for abnormal noises or actions.
The machine should run smoothly with little or no
vibration or rubbing noises.
— Strange or unusual noises should be investigated
and corrected before operating the machine
further. Always disconnect the machine from
power when investigating or correcting potential
problems.
5. Push the ON/OFF button in to turn the machine
OFF

Once assembly is complete, test run the machine to
ensure it is properly connected to power and safety
components are functioning properly.
If you find an unusual problem during the test run,
immediately stop the machine, disconnect it from power,
and fix the problem BEFORE operating the machine again.
