2. Ensure correct power supply voltage.
3. Reset circuit breaker on machine.
4. Ensure circuit is sized correctly and free of shorts.
Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse.
5. Test/replace if at fault.
6. Adjust/replace centrifugal switch/contact points if
available.
7. Check/fix broken, disconnected, misconnected, or
corroded wires.
8. Test/repair if at fault.
9. Inspect/replace if at fault.
10. Test/repair/replace.
Machine stalls or
is underpowered.
1. Workpiece material is not suitable for
machine.
2. Excessive sanding depth.
3. Feed rate/sanding speed too fast.
4. Machine undersized for task.
5. V-belt slipping.
6. Motor overheated, tripping machine circuit
breaker.
7. Run capacitor at fault.
8. Centrifugal switch/contact points at fault.

2. Realign/replace shaft, pulley, set screw, and key

with thread-locking fluid if necessary.
4. Fix/replace fan cover; replace loose/damaged fan.
5. Test by rotating shaft; rotational grinding/loose
shaft requires bearing replacement.
