JOYSTICK CONTROLLER (nVSI) OVERVIEW (FIG. 1)
On / Off Button (1)
This button turns the joystick controller (hereinafter referred to as nVSI) on and off. Do not
use this button to stop the Electric Wheelchair, except in an emergency.
Battery Gauge (2)
The battery gauge shows you that the Electric Wheelchair is switched on. It also indicates
the operating status of the wheelchair. Additionally, any fault in the Electric Wheelchair’s
electrical system is also indicated by this display. Refer to Table 1 for more details.
Maximum Speed Indicator (3)
This is a 5-segment display, which indicates the maximum speed setting selected.
Horn Button (4)
This button operates the Electric Wheelchair’s horn.
Speed Decrease Button (5)
This button decreases the maximum speed.
Speed Increase Button (6)
This button increases the maximum speed.
