Attach the Mounting Adapter
Tip: Before attaching the Mounting Adapter
, refer to Options A and B on Page 3 to determine
what lenth of Ethernet cable to use.
1. Position the Mounting Adapter on the rear of the ShoreTel IP Phone.
2. Attach the Mounting Adapter with the four Torx screws.
3. Reconnect the Handset cable to the Handset port as shown. If using
Option A, Install Wall
Mount Bracket Over Ethernet Connector
, continue to Step 4.

If using
Option B, Install Wall Mount Bracket Near Ethernet Connector
, jump to
page 3 for these instructions before continuing to Step 4.
4. Connect the Ethernet cable to the ShoreTel IP Phone’s Ethernet port, then secure it under
the holders, as shown.
Option A
Install Wall Mount Bracket Over Ethernet Connector
When mounting the phone over the Ethernet jack (shown “Mount Option A”), use the shorter
Ethernet cable included in the wall mount kit. Use a studfinder to locate the wall stud or use
“molly” hollow wall anchors.
1. Place Wall Mount Bracket in desired area
and use pencil to mark screw locations. If
using “molly” hollow wall anchors, use 1/4”
diameter (6.3 mm) drill to bore small hole at
each pencil mark.
2. If using molly anchors, push them all the way
into wall.

2B. Drive wood screws into molly an

chors; if not using molly anchors, drive
wood screws into wall directly.
3. Connect Ethernet cable from phone to wall
jack. Run cable from phone through center
of Wall Mount Bracket to wall jack.
Option B
Install Wall Mount Bracket Near Ethernet Connector
When mounting the phone near the Ethernet jack (shown “Mount Option B”), be sure the
location is within the 7-foot range of the longer Ethernet cable included with the phone. Use
a studfinder to locate the wall stud or use “molly” hollow wall anchors.

2. Place the Wall Mount Bracket in desired area
and use a pencil to mark the screw locations. If

3. If using molly anchors, push them all the way
into wall.

3B. Drive the wood screws into the molly
anchors; if not using molly anchors, drive
wood screws into the wall directly.
