WARNING!
During all operations, keep hands and other parts of the body as far as possible from moving parts of the machine.
Necklaces, bracelets and too large clothes, can be dangerous for the operator.
WARNING!
The optional PT accessory and/or other specific accessories are required to work on RUN FLAT, LOW PROFILE
or UHP wheels. For use of the accessories and the correct operating procedure, refer to the manuals supplied
with the accessories themselves, approved by WDK.
10.1 BEAD BREAKING
WARNING!
Bead breaking must be done with the utmost care and attention.
When the bead breaker pedal is operated the bead breaker arm moves quickly and powerfully.
Anything within its range of action can be in danger of being crushed.
WARNING!
Remember to remove all weights from both sides of
the rim before operating the machine.
1)
Deflate the tyre completely and remove the valve core.
2)
Close the turntable gripper slides completely.
WARNING!
Bead breaking with the turntable slide grippers open
can crush the operator’s hands.
During bead breaking NEVER touch the walls of the tyre
with your hands.
3)
Open the bead loosener by hand by pushing it towards the outside.
Place the wheel up against the rubber wheel support (
13, Fig. D
). Bring
the blade (
14, Fig. D
) against the bead about 1 cm from the edge of the
rim (
See Fig. F
).
10. OPERATION
For S 45 TL GP version:
Activate the inflation pedal (
Fig. E6
) in position 1: air must flow out of the inflation head;
activate the inflation pedal (
Fig. E6
) in position 2: a powerful jet of air must flow out through the
holes in the four locking slides.
WARNING!
While performing this test, avoid holding your head above the table top.
Dirt that may be present on the table top could strike the eyes of the
person working on it.
Take care you do not accidentally press the inflation pedal during the
various operating phases.
