General image handling
The procedure of manipulating the view of an image is the same in each tab.
Use a mouse with a scroll wheel to manipulate regions and perspectives when viewing
images.
2D Image handling controls

Pan image
Click and drag to pan image.
Zoom
Rotate the mouse scroll wheel.
3D Image handling controls
Action
Description
Rotate around center point Click and drag to rotate the image around the center point visual‐
ized by the crosshair.
Rotate around camera cen‐
ter
Shift
+ Right-click to rotate the image around the camera center.
Pan (x, y plane)
Right-click and drag to pan camera in x, y plane.
Pan (u,v plane)
Shift
+ click and drag to pan camera in u, v plane.
Move crosshair
Shift
+ scroll the mouse wheel to change the position of the cross‐
hair to allow rotation around different positions of the image.
Zoom
Rotate the mouse scroll wheel.

Pointer information
If you move the mouse pointer over the image area, some information is shown. For
a 2D image, the coordinates and the intensity value of each point are displayed.
This information is useful, for example when you define the detection threshold,
"Detection threshold", page 48
