Evaluation
In this tab, you can evaluate different images from the camera. You can study both the
live image and images which have been saved previously. The list box above the image
viewer contains all the cameras possible to select.
Select to study the live image or a previously saved image by selecting the correspond‐
ing radio button. The
Image info
section is updated with information about the selected
image.

Process image
The
Evaluation
tab contains a set of simple image processing tools that can be applied
to the currently selected image. In the
Select processing tool
list box, you can choose
between three different evaluation methods as described below.
Image filtering
Image filtering involves operations that perform useful functions, such as noise removal
and image enhancement.

Blur
Reduces image noise and detail.
Median
Replaces each entry with the median of neighboring entries.
