Temperature of the sensor block
Function
The sensor block is heated to prevent condensation in the parts in contact with the sample
gas. The set temperature of the heater is adjustable. It depends on the measuring
application which set temperature is suitable. Standard value: 200 °C.
For applications in which the sample gas is taken from potentially explosive areas, the
setpoint temperature must be set to a value which is at least 25 °C below the
classification temperature (refer to type plate).
Example:
Classification temperature: 220 °C; sensor block set temperature:
195 °C
