Safety instructions for maintenance work
CAUTION:
Risk of skin burns
●
The sensor block and the sample gas filter are hot when in operation
(
200 °C). This applies also to the surfaces.
●
The following applies for the analyzer unit types “inline” and “industrial
housing”:
The surface of the sampling probe and the sampling pipe can reach
temperatures of up to 350 °C.
Wear protective gloves.
Keep dismantled, hot components away from electrical components and
cables and leave to cool at a protected place.
CAUTION:
General hazards caused by electrical voltage
If it is necessary to open the device during setting or maintenance work
and it is necessary for the power supply to remain activated:
Only have this
work done by skilled persons who are familiar with electrical hazards and
potential risks.
If it is necessary to open or remove internal electrical components:
Disconnect the device from all power sources before starting work.
If liquids have penetrated electrical components:
Take the device out of
operation and disconnect the mains voltage externally (e.g. disconnect the
mains cable). Then contact service technicians of the manufacturer or
correspondingly trained skilled persons to have the device repaired.
If hazard-free operation of the device is no longer possible:
Take the device
out of operation and secure against unauthorized start-up.
Never disconnect the protective conductor connections inside or outside
the device. Otherwise the device could constitute a hazard.
