Rotation for side mounting
The LMS Width must be aligned on the post or mast so that the signal is emitted at an
angle of 20 to 40° to the direction of travel.

Turning the LMS Width around the X- and Z-axis must be prevented by the mounting.
Ideal mounting position
The following figure shows the combination of the vertical and horizontal distance for the
TIC501 that generates the best measurement results.

The chart can be interpreted as follows:
•
The TIC501 has the best performance within the green range.
•
A maximum distance of 4 m to the lane edge is recommended for side mounting of the
TIC501. The side mounting height should be at least 3 m.
•
If the TIC501 is mounted on the side within the gray area, the system's ability to count
perform may be reduced.
