MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
7. (only for safeRS/safeRS3 mixed system) Set the working frequency. If the system is
installed in one of the countries with national restrictions, select the restricted band,
otherwise select the full band.
Note
: this setting does not have any effect on system performance or safety.
8. Set the number of sensors connected.

(only for safeRS3 Control) Synchronize the controls
If there is more than one safeRS3 Control in the area, refer to the system Instruction
manual for the multi-control synchronization to reduce the interference among the
controls.

Define the area to be monitored
WARNING
The system is disabled during configuration. Prepare opportune safety measures in the
dangerous area protected by the system before configuring the system.
1. Start the application.

. For safeRS/safeRS3 mixed system and
for safeRS3, click

Configuration
.
3. Define the area to be monitored and the sensor configuration.

Configure the inputs and outputs
1. In the application, click
Settings
.
2. Click
Digital Input-Output
and define the functions of the inputs and outputs.
3. If the muting is managed, click
Muting
and assign the sensors to the groups
according to the logic of the digital inputs.
4. Click
APPLY CHANGES
to save the configuration.
