Port configuration mode
You can use the
port configuration mode
(port parameterization mode) to define how an
IO-Link port is parameterized.
If configuration parameters such as
Validation and data storage
are to be stored in the
master, then the parameter must be set to
IO-Link port configuration active
in the hardware
configuration.
If the parameter in the hardware configuration is set to
Automatic mode
instead of
IO-Link
port configuration active
and
Restore
is selected, the master is not parameterized
for
Restore
. However, via the web interface of the master, you can see
Restore
activated, even if the master is not used for storage in
Automatic mode
.
