Error reset
Error messages can be acknowledged in different ways:
▶
via the input “Reset”
▶
with the positive edge of the start signal (only, if this function is not assigned to an
input)
▶
via the serial interface
Speed direction
The function input “Speed direction” allows reversing the direction of the motor rotation.
During a running operation the motor is first decelerated to speed zero and then accel‐
erated again in the reverse rotational direction.
Configuration 1/2
It is possible to program two different U/f characteristic curves with all associated oper‐
ating parameters (e.g. current limitation, number of motor poles, slip/load control etc.)
for the frequency converter. If a new characteristic curve is selected during operation,
the new selection will be active after the input “Switch on” was deselected and selected
again.
External hardware OK
The function “External Hardware OK” allows evaluation of the external monitoring func‐
tions e.g. air blast circuit breaker, flow meter and the like. You can set the error reac‐
tion as you desire, it is coupled with the reaction to a mains failure.
8.9.2
Outputs
Speed pulse output
The speed pulse output is conceived as complementary output. That means, the
wanted signal is transmitted via one channel (in this case UA+) and the inverted signal
is transmitted via a second channel (in this case UA-). Thus, symmetric interferences
do not influence the shape of the signal.
Six pulses per motor revolution are transmitted. Thus, the unit
minute is already
considered and a standard frequency counter can be used to display the motor speed.
The following applies for the output signal: 1 kHz corresponds to 10,000 rpm.
8.9.2.1
Programmable Outputs
The 6 outputs are freely programmable, i.e. any signal can be assigned to every
output. The following functions can be defined.
Ready for operation
The following conditions must be met so that the frequency converter signals “Ready
for operation”:
▶
The inputs for motor protection (PTC) are connected.
▶
The safety circuit / restart lock is wired.
▶
The 24 V supply is switched on. The mains supply is turned on.
▶
No error message has been signaled.
