The.quick.jack-knifing.of.the.catch.hook.just.before.
it.engages..could.cause.fingers.to.be.crushed.

To.pre-tension.the.SOFT.CLOSE,.press.the.
catch.hook.against.a.stable.edge,.e..g..edge.of.
workbench.

You.must.pre-tension.the.SOFT.CLOSE.before.you.install.

SOFT CLOSE troubleshooting
Fault
SOFT.CLOSE.is.not.functioning.
Possible cause
SOFT CLOSE is not tensioned.
Rectification
Subsequent.tensioning.of.the.SOFT.CLOSE:
1. open the sliding sash
2.
Mark.the.position.of.the.trigger.in.the.guiding.rail.
3.
Loosen.the.trigger.fixing..Slide.the.trigger.approx..100.mm.in.the.opening.direction.and.fix.again.
4.
Slowly.close.the.sliding.sash.until.you.can.hear.the.catch.hook.engaging.in.the.trigger.
5. Open the sliding sash again. This will tension the SOFT CLOSE.
6.
Loosen.the.trigger.fixing..Slide.the.trigger.back.to.the.marked.position.and.fix.
