Alphanumeric keypad
The arrangement of the characters (letters, digits and special characters) is largely the
same as on a standard typewriter. There are some additional keys, however, which
assume certain control functions for the PC.

Tab Key
Pressing the tab key makes the cursor jump to the next tabulator stop. The
default is for tab stops to be set every eight columns.
For tab stops in application programs please refer to the user's manual of
the program you want to work with.
Shift
Shift Key
The alphanumeric keypad has two Shift keys. When you hold down one of
these keys, all letters are written as capital letters. With all the remaining
keys, the upper character is output (e.g. the "$" for the 4 key).
Caps Lock
Caps Lock Key
When the Caps Lock key is pressed the lamp at the top left of the keyboard
comes on. All letters are then output in upper case, and all other characters
normally. To type lower-case letters with this setting, you have to press the
Shift key.
To cancel the Caps Lock function press the key again. The lamp will then go
out.
