The access LED is lit whenever the drive is active.
The quarter-inch cartridge tape drive is capable of reading and writing cartridges
with a capacity of 155 and 525 MB. It can also read 60-MB cartridges.
Opening the drive
You should open the drive door only when you need to insert or remove a cartridge.
At all other times the door should be left closed to keep dirt out.
You must not open the drive door while the access LED is lit.

Press the release button (3) in the top right-hand corner of the drive door and
swing the door down as far as it will go.
Closing the drive
Ê
Close the drive by pressing lightly on the drive door.
