You will hear the confirmation tone,
followed by the dial tone.

Dial the extension to which you want your
calls forwarded. For all-condition
forwarding (# 9 1, # 9 2, # 9 3), you can dial
9 and an outside number as your
forwarding target.
If your phone has a Forward key, the
Forward status light turns on to indicate
that Variable Forwarding is active for your
extension. If you have a display phone,
STORED is displayed, followed by the
option you chose and the number to which
your calls will be forwarded.
You will hear the confirmation tone.

Hang up. Your primary line key status light
flickers.
