Overview of mounting variants
If the drives are fitted with mechanical and pneumatic interfaces OPOS Interface (VDI/VDE 3847), the positioner is
particularly easy to mount.
This interface has an integrated air passage and standardized fixing elements. This reduces the amount of work required for
mounting compared to mounting kits for specific actuators.
The OPOS Interface (VDI/VDE 3847) interface has the following features:

Mounting surface with fastening threads and coding pin to assist with mounting process
●
Integrated air passages
●
Optional mounting surface for installation of a solenoid valve without tubing
If the interface of the actuator does not correspond with the VDI/VDE 3847 directive, the positioner is mounted using the
adapter block of the corresponding mounting kit. An overview of the mounting kits can be found in the FI 01 catalog.
