Code configurations

Note
Changing the configuration
Changes to the configuration take effect immediately and are stored.

Note
Rate of data transmission depends on set keyboard
Note that the data transmission rate is slower with a set universal keyboard (Universal

Keyboard Mapping) than with selection of a specific keyboard language (e.g. US keyboard).

SIMATIC MV320

Codes for configuration of the device
A current list of the codes for configuration of the SIMATIC MV320 reader is available at the

following link:

)

Motion detection with the reader with and without stand detection
If the reader is placed on a stand, the reader with stand detection automatically switches to

the motion detection mode.

When the code for "Disable Motion Detection with Stand Detection" is scanned in, the

reader switches to the motion detection mode. Detection depends on whether or not the

reader is on a stand.

To disable motion detection, you need to scan in the code for "Disable Motion Detection

with Stand Detection" and "Motion Detection Scanning Off".

To enable motion detection on readers with stand detection after disabling motion

detection:
You need to scan in the code for "Enable Motion Detection with Stand Detection"

To enable motion detection on readers without stand detection:
You need to scan in the required code for "Motion Detection On".
