Synchronizing up to 12 SIPROTEC 4 or SIPROTEC 5 Devices
This use case is an extension of the basic configuration from chapter
3.2 Synchronizing up to 6 SIPROTEC 4 or
. The Sync-Transceiver is now operating in channel pairing mode and provides the time
protocol of the GPS receiver to 2 semiconductor switch outputs at the same time. Using the T adaptor cable
7XV5104-3AA00, you can now connect 2 lines from cascaded Y bus cables 7XV5104-0AAxx, each having a
maximum length of 10 m, to the Sync-Transceiver. In this configuration, the number of SIPROTEC 4 or
SIPROTEC 5 devices that can be connected doubles to 2 × 6 = 12.
