4. Switchboard, stationary part
Item No.
Commissioning Step Performed
Yes
No
Remarks
4.1.1
Alignment of base frame checked and tolerances as required.
4.1.2
Sections have been fixed on the base frame as described in the operating
instructions.
4.2.1
The switchboard has been cleaned of dust and solid foreign bodies using
a vacuum cleaner and, if necessary, a brush.
4.2.2
Ventilation grilles in enclosure parts and internal partitions have been
vacuum-cleaned (e.g. doors and top plates) and dirt-filled filter mats have
been cleaned or replaced.
4.2.3
Greased parts have been cleaned, dried, and regreased.
4.3
Ventilation grilles have been inspected during cleaning and the wire mesh
has been replaced where necessary. Depending on the switchboard
configuration, internal arc flaps are installed inside behind the ventilation
openings of the base covers and doors. Before commissioning, it is
necessary to check that these flaps are open.
4.4
Additional measures were taken for achieve degree of protection IP54 at
the joints of the transportation units.
4.5.1
All top plates are attached properly and the sealing plugs are inserted into
the threaded holes for the transportation aids (e.g. transportation L-rails,
eyebolts).
4.5.2
Top plates or parts of top plates exhibiting inadmissible deformation have
been replaced.
4.6
Other enclosure parts have been inspected for damage of any kind
(mechanical deformation, damaged paintwork) and repaired or replaced.
4.7.1
All screwed busbar joints have been tightened using a torque wrench,
applying the specified torque, after which they have been marked.
Phase conductors
PEN or N
PE
4.7.2
Cable terminations on busbars or the termination points of functional units
connected on site have been tightened using a torque wrench, applying
the specified torque, and then marked.
4.7.3
The ground bus has been connected with the specified cross-section.
4.7.4
A visual inspection of the connections stated in 4.7.1 to 4.7.3 has been
performed. The correct type and position of the locking elements (conical
spring washers DIN 6796, spring washers, washers DIN125) and cable
lugs, as well as the clearances to be observed and sufficient fastening of
the cables were checked.
During the visual inspection, .... % of the connections were checked with
the inspection torque (see 8PQ9801-8AA58).
Note:
Connections using conical spring washers DIN 6796 are
maintenance-free and only a visual inspection is necessary during return
to service.
4.7.5
Connections to terminals have been checked using a power screwdriver
applying the correct torque. 100% of all connections made on site, random
checks at internal connections of the switchboard (e.g. control voltage
supply in cross-wiring compartment and vertical distribution, conductor
lines for electrical interlocks).
4.7.6
If the client specifies, for example, metal fastening elements or cable
designation plates:
– Secure and enduring fastening has been performed; a hazard caused
by falling plates or other conducting parts can be excluded due to their
location.
– Covers have been retrofitted because of doubts about the reliability of
the fastening and/or a possible hazard caused by falling plates or other
parts.
4.8
Isolating links, if existing, are accessible and their marking is still visible
after the connecting work has been completed.
4.9
All barriers:
–
comply with the specified classification
–
have been attached (again) and in proper condition ( e.g. barriers in
front of compartments, barriers of vertical distribution busbars,
bellows or rigid plastic covers of cable termination points, covers
above lined up terminals)
4.10.1
Doors close properly and have been aligned if necessary. Damaged door
locks have been replaced.
