The function can be parameterized as follows using the setting "Auto generation lock":
Auto generation lock
None
Function is deactivated.
A valid buffer request is forwarded to generation when a valid heat request is pending.
There is no generation lock based on the buffer temperature
With B4
:
The function is on.
A valid buffer request is forwarded to generation if the buffer storage tank is unable to
cover the resulting heat request on sensor B4.
As soon as sensor B4 achieves the request temperature, the buffer request is once
again rescinded.
With B4 and B41 / B42
:
The function is on.
A valid buffer request is forwarded to generation if the buffer storage tank is unable to
cover the resulting heat request by consumer on B4 and B41 (or B42).
As soon as sensor B4 achieves the request temperature, the buffer request is once
again rescinded.
The parameter "Temp diff buffer/HC" can compensate the setpoint for the
auto
generation lock
.
Temp diff buffer/HC
A mixing valve boost is often set for plant with a high switching differential for switching
on/of generation. This mixing valve boost is not required for heat source from a storage
tank and can be compensated using the parameter
Auto generation lock
.
If the temperature differential
∆
T between buffer storage tank and temperature request
from the heating circuit is sufficiently large, the heat required by the heating circuit is
drawn from the buffer storage tank. The heat source is locked.
Released
The heat source is released as soon as the temperature at both buffer storage tank
sensors drops by "Temp diff buffer/HC" plus 1 K below the required flow temperature.
