TEST CONDITION per SECTION
Information
about the 'Test
condition' oper-
ating mode
Automatic detectors (or manual call points) are normally tested at
section level
; but they can
also be tested at
line
or
zone level
.
An element (i.e. an individual fire detector or manual call point)
cannot
be set to the 'Test
condition' operating mode.
Sections
and
zones
in 'Test condition' operating mode are spontaneously displayed as mes-
sages of the 'Isolation' category.
For which lines
is this function
available?
The command is available for lines with Sinteso
TM
, interactive, AnalogPLUS, MS9i, CBA and
collective devices.
How does it
work?
When a device is activated, its response indicator flashes for a few seconds, and an appropriate
message is displayed during this time on the terminal.
When in this operating mode, the
response time is shorter
.
No
alarm messages are generated!
What does 'per -
SECTION'
mean?
Per SECTION means
all
detector (or manual call point) zones within a SECTION.
NOTE
The steps for TEST and TEST OFF for fire detectors also apply to manual call points.
