Sun protection and twilight function
7. Sun protection and twilight function
Info: For these functions, an aditional sun sensor (5TC1 526) is required. The sensor
must be ordered seperately.
The sun protection function
Info: The sun protection function can only be executed when the blind/shutter is in the
upper limit position.
The sun protection function lowers the blind/shutter automatically when it gets too bright.
As soon as the preset brightness is exceeded, the sun symbol starts flashing. The blind/
shutter is lowered after 2 minutes. The blind/shutter stop position can be freely chosen
and depends on the position of the sensor on the window pane.
The blind/shutter stops when the sensor position
is reached.
The blind/shutter then moves up a bit so that the
sun sensor is again in the sunlight.
Then, it moves down again and stops short of the
sun sensor.
This procedure ensures that the sun sensor can always detect brightness changes. For
optimal sun protection, the blind/shutter position is readjusted every hour.
If the ambient brightness remains for 15 minutes below the programmed brightness, the
blind/shutter moves up again.
