6 Commissioning
When the battery connector is connected, the radio manual call point FDM275-O is
activated.
Insert the battery packs into the devices at the location where they are going to be
used just before commissioning the fire detection installation.
Once the switching unit is inserted into the housing, the radio manual call point
FDM275-O automatically looks for radio devices within range in the vicinity and
automatically integrates itself into the radio network.
The device is commissioned via the control panel. The exact procedure is
described in the control panel documentation.
Conduct a performance check once commissioning is complete.

6.1 Performance check

The radio manual call point FDM275-O is installed and electrically connected.
1. Set the detector line to 'Test' on the control panel.

The internal alarm indicator flashes green with flashing pattern number 8.
2. Insert the key into the housing from below, as shown in the diagram.

The glass insert or plastic insert falls down and activates the alarm actuator
in the switching unit.
a
The alarm signal is transmitted.
a
The internal alarm indicator flashes green and red with flashing pattern
number 6 and number 8.
3. Pull off the key.
a
The glass insert or plastic insert is pushed back into its original position.
a
The manual call point is ready for operation again.
4. Set the detector line to 'Normal operation' on the control panel.
a
The internal alarm indicator stops flashing.
a
The detector line is ready for operation again.
