Operate the device on the top-hat rail. See Section 8: Wall mounting.
2.
Connect a camera to the video input (

).
If loop-through is necessary, set the terminating resistor (

) to Off and connect
the video cable extension to the video loop (

).

Connect an analogue monitor to the device (

).
4.
Connect the client PC to the device (

) using a patch cable.
5.
Connect the power supply cable to the device (

) first and then to the power
source.

Switch on the analogue monitor.

After a short wait, the IP address of the device will appear on the screen.

Connect the client PC to the power supply.

Start the client PC.

Set the IP address of the client PC. See Section 9.7: Setting the IP address of
the client PC.

Install the software and configure it. See Section 10: Software and
Section 11: Configuration.
11.
Disconnect the analog monitor and the client PC from the Video Fire
Controller.

Connect the Video Fire Controller to the FDnet (
