Screen display with CLIP/CLI
If you have stored an entry for a number in your directory, then
the directory entry will be displayed instead of the number, e.g.
'Anna'.
The screen displays
Extern. Call
if the number is not identified.
The handset displays
Withheld
if the caller either suppresses call-
ing line identification or has not requested it.
Handsfree speaking on the handset
You can make calls without having to hold the handset in your
hand. Other people can also join in the call.
You should inform your caller that you intend to use the handsfree
function before you activate it.
Activating/deactivating handsfree
to activate:
d
press the handsfree key.
to deactivate:
c
press the talk key.
As soon as you terminate the handsfree mode you switch to 'ear-
piece mode' and continue the call on the handset.
Adjusting the volume while in handsfree mode

Decrease or increase the volume.
