Using the network mailbox
Some fixed line network providers and
VoIP providers offer answer machines on
the network – network mailboxes.
You can use the relevant network mailbox
if you have
requested
it from your fixed
line network or VoIP provider.
The network mailbox only answers incom-
ing calls made via the relevant line (fixed
line network or VoIP). To record all calls,
you should therefore set up network mail-
boxes for both fixed line network and VoIP.
Configuring fast access for the
network mailbox
With fast access, you can dial a network
mailbox or the integrated answer machine
directly.
Fast access is set for the integrated answer
machine. Instead of using this, you can
specify a network mailbox such as the T-
Net box provided by T-Com. Ask your net-
work provider about this.
The number is usually dialled via the
default connection.
Tip:
A fixed line network mailbox should
always be controlled via the fixed line net-
work connection. If VoIP is set as the
default connection on your phone, you
have the following options:
u
Add a star (*) to the end of the number
for the network mailbox. The connec-
tion is then established via the fixed
line network.
u
Enter the number with the line suffix
#0 for the fixed line network.

dial numbers to every handset that is regis-

– To deactivate fast access, you must delete
the number.
Please note:
If you have set an automatic area code
(page 108), the area code is also prefixed to
the number of the network mailbox if it does
not start with 0 and is dialled via VoIP.
If the number does not begin with 0, please
ask your VoIP provider. A network mailbox can
frequently be accessed via an alternative
phone number (with area code) too.
