Configuring call forwarding
via VoIP
If you are toggling calls via VoIP connec-
tions, you can connect the two external
callers (provider-dependent). You can
configure settings for this type of call for-
warding.

the base station is connected to the
Internet via a router with NAT.
Automatic Refer To
If you activate

the best protocol, it will use the proto-

Setting the Area Code
Predialling
In VoIP calls you must generally always
dial the area code – even for local calls.
You can save the need to dial the area
code for local calls by activating the
Area
Code Predialling
function. In VoIP calls, the
area code entered is then prefixed to all
numbers that do not start with 0 – even
when dialling numbers from the directory
and other lists.
Exceptions:
Numbers for
which you have defined dialling plans
(page 109). The area code is not added as
an area code to these numbers.

Configure the following settings in the
Area Code Predialling
area:

Enter your area code in the
Area Code
field (max. 10 digits), e.g. 020.

Yes
option next to
Predial area
code for local calls through VoIP
to acti-
vate the function.
Click
No
to deactivate the function. You
will then need to enter the area code
for local calls made via VoIP. Numbers
in the directory must always contain
the area code for dialling via VoIP.

Please note:
The area code will also be prefixed to VoIP calls
made to the network mailbox (page 70) and
emergency numbers if there are
no
defined
dialling plans for these numbers.
