Receive MSN
Receive MSN
shows all the base station's available
MSNs
. Use the
On
column to
activate all the MSNs you want to assign a device as Receive MSN.
With the appropriate
authorisation
the selected device can receive all the calls arriv-
ing for one of these MSNs.
Ring delay
You can also set a
ring delay
for each
Receive MSN
of a device. Using ring delay, for
example, you can choose whether the device should immediately respond to an
incoming call and for which MSNs it should act only as an extension.
The length of the
ring delay
is configured by the number of
rings
:
Call waiting
If this option has been activated, you will be informed during a telephone call if
somebody else calls a
Receive MSN
for your device. The base station will send a call
waiting tone while the caller continues ringing. Depending on your device's fea-
tures, you can accept, reject or ignore the second call.
Autom. Set
If this option has been activated, the outside line will be reserved as soon as you pick
up the receiver or press the device's call key. Otherwise you will obtain the outside
line only after you have entered the first digit of the telephone number.
This option is only available for GAP devices and devices on the analogue connec-
tions (only for
device types
Phone
,
Fax
,
Modem
or
Neutral
).
Hunt group
With this feature you can call all the devices forming the internal call all group. The
call goes to the first device that reacts to the group call.
Send MSN selection after seizure
Every time you get an outside line with the Gigaset 4000/3000/2000 Comfort
devices you can choose the
Send MSN
for the next external call.
De-register
Use the
De-register
button to deregister a device from the base station and remove
it from the device list. All the settings for this device are lost.
