Configuring door intercoms

Double-click
Configuration

Folder List

This displays the dialogues available.

Click
Door
.
You will now see the
Door
tab.
ì
In the device list, click the device that is to respond to the door intercom.
This highlights the row. The
Assignment to door call group
option beneath the
device list is also activated.
ì
Activate the
Assignment to door call group
option to add the device to the inter-
com group. Only those devices in the intercom group will react to an intercom call.
ì
In the device list, click the door intercom you want to configure.
This highlights the selected row. This opens the
Forward door call outside
and
Device type
sections beneath the device list.
ì
Use the
Forward door call outside
option, if you want to redirect the intercom call
to an external telephone number:
– Click
Activate
.
– Enter the telephone number with up to 32 digits in the corresponding
Destina-
tion call number
field.
ì
Select
Device type
for your door intercom:
– Activate the
Door 1
option, if you have connected a door intercom to your base
station as per FTZ 123.
With this door type, the door is opened via closed-circuit current. No further set-
tings are required.
or
– Activate the
Door 1
option, if the door intercom can be operated using DTMF con-
trol signals.
When supplied, default DTMF control codes have been entered.
– If necessary, enter the DTMF control codes for your door intercom in the
Door
open code
,
Collect call code
,
Connect code
and
Disconnect code
fields.

Click
Apply
.
The new settings will be sent to the base station. This activates the door intercom.
Detailed description

The settings for a door intercom are only available if such an intercom is
registered with the analogue connection of your base station.
i
If you want to include several internal devices in the intercom group, you
can select the device list rows without clicking
Apply
. Your changes
remain unaffected while switching between rows.
