Creating a new directory entry

Click
Directories
in
Folder list

This opens the directory manager.
ì
In the
All
section, click the
PC
tab.
This displays the central directory.
ì
Click
Create entry
.
This opens the
New entry
dialogue.
ì
Enter the name of the new directory entry (up to 16 characters) in the
Name
field.
The
name
is also the criterion for the alphabetical sorting of the directory entries.
ì
Enter the telephone number (up to 32 digits) in the Call number field. Apart from
the digits 0 – 9 you can also use the special characters #, *, P and R:
ì
Confirm your entry with
OK
.
The new entry is added to the central directory.

Dial pause
Forces a short pause during block dialling, which gives older extension sys-
tems for example enough time to get an outside line. The dialling pause is
inserted after the last digit before the

Flash function
The flash function is triggered by pressing keys on the telephone and is used
to put through a call or start special functions. A flash is a short defined
interruption of the link, e. g. to make an enquiry call.

The alphabetical sorting of the directory entries is updated the first time
you open the
Directories
folder.
If you want to check the sorting of the entries immediately, briefly close
and open the
Directories
folder again.
