Configuring preferred holding for enquiry calls
An enquiry call can be made in your base station or on the network.

Double-click
Configuration
in
Folder List
.
This displays the dialogues available.

Base settings
.
The corresponding tabs are then displayed.

Open the
Assignments
tab.

Define the
Preferred holding for enquiry calls
:
– Click
In the base
, if you want the base station to hold the external call.
The second B-channel of the ISDN line will be used for the second external call
(enquiry call).
or
– Click
In the network
, if you want the external call is to be held on your network
provider's network.
The base station returns the first external call to the network provider. The con-
nection is held there. The second external call (enquiry call) is made using the
same B-channel. The second B-channel is left free.

Apply

The new settings will be sent to the base station.

The base station can only make the second external call (enquiry call)
if the second B-channel is free. If this is not the case, no enquiry call
can be made.
